SMAN 1 Pontianak

SMAN 1 Pontianak, on Kalimantan 203 street, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, is one of the Government Senior High Schools in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The same with the other schools in Indonesia, the education takes three years, begins from tenth to twelfth grades. It was built in 1953. SMAN 2 Pontianak has many facilities to support teaching and learning process. They are class, mosque, library, laboratories (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer and Language). SMAN 1 also has many extracurricular, flag bearer -troops, mini football, Basket ball, English , Cheerleaders, international aid organization, etc. 

SMAN 2 Pontianak

SMAN 2 Pontianak, on R.E. Martadinata street, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, is one of the Government Senior High Schools in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The same with the other schools in Indonesia, the education takes three years, begins from tenth to twelfth grades. SMAN 2 Pontianak has many facilities to support teaching and learning process. They are class, library, laboratories (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer and Language). SMAN 2 also has many extracurricular, one of them is international aid organization. 

Universities in Pontianak

There are some universities in Pontianak, such as:
1. Tanjungpura University
Tanjungpura University is located on Ayani road. It has 9 faculties: Education, Economics, Medicine, Law, Social, Agriculture, Forestry, Engineering and MIPA.

2. Polytechnic Pontianak
Polnep is located on Ayani road, besides Tanjungpura university. It has some departments: Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering and Planning, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Marine Science and Fisheries,  
Estates, Architects, and Computer.
